Well, this is the fourth and final part to the studio roundtable and listening to it never ceases to amaze me how privileged I was to be in that room with those guys! The crazy thing I realized is the day went long and each time I would ask if there was something else they wanted to talk about, they'd discover another topic...these guys didn't want to leave. They were not looking for an escape route, or an excuse to leave. They were having such a good time just being together and having an exchange about equipment, the Union, sessions...the good, bad and the ugly. So much fun and such a great memory in my life and now I get to share it with all of you.

Roundtable Part 3 everyone! Talking sessions highs and lows, burn-out, relevance...lots of good stuff with our legends!

More incredible L.A. studio roundtable to hear...lots of good producer stories, the great insane Bee Gees story that Jeff tells and the very funny story of Jeff and Mike's art on their heads. There's some technique
talk, trends of the time, and, oh, by the way, all that clicking in the background is dear Lissa Wales who is no longer with us, taking photos...

Well, thanks to my partner in crime, Ed Eblen, who so painstakingly spent hours and hours of technical work transferring the analog to digital, we now have Part 1 of the Roundtable everyone has been awaiting! For those who don't recall, it was Jeff Porcaro, whose contagious laugh will get you laughing, Vinnie Colaiuta, who has another great laugh to be sure, Jim Keltner, Harvey Mason, Mike Baird, Denny Fongheiser and Steve Schaeffer who arrived a little late to my home in Reseda, CA in 1990. Listening to this again reminds me exactly why you've all been nagging me for this (Chris Brady!). Wait 'til you actually hear this...all the laughter and carrying on. I almost feel guilty that I got to be there. I am so happy to share this with you. More to come...
